DESCRIPTION:Join us for the premiere of the short documentary film Madhu’s Saris\, which will be screened during the AGM for Respecting Elders: Communities Against Abuse on September 20\, 2018. The film is the outcome of a collaborative research creation project between ACT and RECAA\, and was directed by Dr. Mariam Esseghaier. The film features RECAA member Madhu Nambiar as she discusses how her own life in India and Canada is intertwined with the stories of her many saris.
