The International Conference on Qualitative Research in Communication has a new website. The conference will be held October 3rd-4th, 2013 in Bucharest, Romania, and abstracts of a maximum of 500 words are due by March 15th, 2013. Also, ACM member, Dr. Mireia Fernández-Ardèvol, is scheduled to present as a keynote speaker.
On February 25th, 2013, Dr. Barbara Crow guest lectured at Nipissing University. The title of her presentation was “I’m a G-Mom: Sociology of Ageing.”

ACM member Dr. Barbara Crow, along with Dr. Catherine Middleton and Dr. Tamara Shepherd, attended the recent Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) hearing which took place in Gatineau, Quebec for a week beginning February 11th, 2013.
