“Meeting the needs of all Canadians: Older adults, affordability and mobile, wireless services” Preliminary Intervention (CRTC-2019-57) “Review of mobile wireless services”

This intervention focuses on the impact that affordability of mobile and wireless devices has on older adults in our community.

It investigates the current costs of mobile wireless services influence the ability of Canada’s growing senior population to fully participate in Canadian society, as the existing pricing system is unaffordable to many Canadians who are 60 and over.

ACT researchers will be conducting further interviews and holding more focus groups in the future following up on this investigation.
