ACT researcher Margarida Romero and Nadia Kichkina of Université Laval are organizing a panel at the Rencontres sciences et société held at the Musée des civilisations in Québec City on March 20, an event geared that aims to create a bridge between the general public and university research. ACT postdoctoral fellow Maude Gauthier will present on ACT, and will also discuss the ACT-wiki and InterACTion projects. Brietta O’Leary, a research assistant for ACT and MA student at Concordia University, will present on the work she has been doing with RECAA. Sadeqa Siddiqui, current president of RECAA, will discuss the community organization and the work they do in addressing elder abuse.
