Urša Marinšek studied English and sociology, and holds an MA in English from the University of Maribor, Slovenia. Currently, she is finishing her MA in sociology at the University of Maribor and will soon enrol in a PhD program at the University of Graz, Austria. During her studies, she worked as a nursing home assistant and as a tour guide in a karst cave. She is working as a coordinator for the Graz International Summer School Seggau and the Comparative Healthcare Program with the University of Pittsburgh, USA, at the Centre for Inter-American Studies of the University of Graz. Her research interests include Slovene translations of Shakespeare’s plays, stylistics, drama, as well as aging studies.
